Opening of Field Station 293, summer 2022, in the small village of Höja in northwest Scania. Image archive on display, alongside artworks by invited international artists such as Karrabing Collective, and Andrew Kötting. The Field Station collects images of a landscape affected by the industries of coal mining and sugar production.

Premiere of new work Values (2022), or, in Swedish, Värdering, in the exhibition Ett skepp blir till at Dunkers Kulturhus, Helsingborg. The exhibition covers the history of the shipyards in the old harbour town of Helsingborg.

Second exhibition at Havremagasinet in Boden, curated by Mariangela Mendez-Prencke. Works included: I am Come (2021); premiere of I am Come Again (2022) produced for tythe exhibition; I am Skåne (2016); and the gradual publication online of an essay on how migrant labourers from Galizia are represented in Swedish literature. Exhibition dates: 19/3 2022-15/5 2022.

Showing two works in the exhibition The Machines are Running, curated by Havremagasinet in Boden. Other artists participating include Fikret Atay, Theresa Traore Dahlberg, Lennart Nilsson, and the writer Eyvind Johnson, among others. I am showing Isolator (2020) and a self-contained trailer for I am the Sun (2018), featuring an amazing gospel choir from Kirseberg called Gospel Glow.

Performance at Havremagasinet in Boden, 16/10 2021: a live recording of a voiceover for I am Unquenchable. The text for the voiceover is a collage of quotes incorporated into a letter from a blacklisted coalminer addressing his newborn son.

The research project Jag vet hur Folkhemmet luktar, which I am a part of, will do a presentation and a series of talks on Ocober 16 at Stationen.svg, as part of GIBCA Extended. Participants in the research project are Tina Carlsson, Anneli Jordahl, Ingela Johansson, Rikard Heberling, Petra Hultman, and me. The project has resulted in a seminar at Konstfack (March 12, 2020), and will be presented in an upcoming book. More news to follow.

The research project Lek för demokrati, which I have been a part of, recently inaugurated The Childrens’ City Hall in Ängelholm, on September 24. I worked with 120 local children on a public protest, a meeting between the children and the city chairman, some workshops, and partly on the construction of the Childrens’ City Hall.
